Not many people would list cleaning as their hobby, but cleaning the bathroom seems to be a particularly tedious chore. You do not look forward to getting started, and it often takes you a long time. But did you know that you can keep up the maintenance of the entire bathroom in just 10 minutes a week?
You probably have a lot of expensive cleaning supplies in your closet, but the great thing about this method is that it saves you a lot of money as well as time! There is no need for a lot of expensive products.
Make sure you have the following:
– All-purpose cleaner
– Toilet brush
– Microfiber cloths/sponge
– Kitchen roll
Apply bleach under the edges of the toilet bowl and spray descaler on the sink, taps, shower drain and showerhead. Everything will have the time to soak in while you move on to the next steps.
In the meantime, you can clean the mirror with some all-purpose cleaner and kitchen roll. Then clean the toilet properly. Start from the top and work your way down slowly. Do not forget the flush handle! This is dirtier than your toilet seat. Use a microfiber cloth for the toilet and grab a new one for the next step.
Everything has had a chance to soak in well by now, so you can start cleaning the inside of your toilet with the toilet brush, then flush. Next, clean the sink and shower with all-purpose cleaner and a sponge. Because the descaler has had time to soak in, this is done in no time! Clean the tiles, rinse well with water and dry off with a cloth.
If you follow these steps every week, cleaning your bathroom is no longer a heavy-duty task on your cleaning list!
