Baking soda is inexpensive and also a very sustainable replacement for other environmentally unfriendly cleaning products. You see it in more and more supermarkets, and it’s really worth a try.
1. Clean your bathroom with it
It turns out to be a fantastic abrasive. You can easily clean your tile, grout, and shower by putting some baking soda on a wet sponge. Then scrub it clean and rinse with water. Just dry it with a cloth and your bathroom will be brilliantly clean! Don’t forget your toilet; sprinkle a coffee cup of baking soda in your toilet and then throw in the same amount of cleaning vinegar. Let it fizz for 10 minutes and then wipe it down with a toilet brush. Your toilet will be like new
2. As a weed killer in the garden
Throw some baking soda between the cracks in your garden and small weeds will be killed. It also prevents new weeds from growing. After gardening, it’s easy to clean your hands with baking soda, so your black hands will be clean in a snap!
3. Kitchen helper
All your pans and baking moulds can easily be scrubbed down with baking soda without damaging them. Add some baking soda to a wet sponge and rinse thoroughly. You can also effortlessly clean your microwave and oven. Even coffee and tea scale are easy to remove. It also neutralises odours. Put a bowl of baking soda in the back of your fridge or sprinkle some on the bottom of your trash. It’s the perfect kitchen helper!
4. Clean your mattress
Clean your mattress regularly! It’s easy to do with baking soda. Freshen up your mattress by generously sprinkling baking soda on it and leaving it for a few hours. Then vacuum it up with the vacuum cleaner, so you save on expenses like dry cleaning, or even worse, a new mattress.
